Wick & Tallow | Bespoke Candle Service

Having launched our first collection over two years ago, we have learnt so much about what goes into creating the perfect candle.

We love passing this information on by creating candles for other luxury brands. Our bespoke candle service has become very popular within the creative industry and it's so exciting to work with different brands as their briefs are all so varied.

We work with a host of UK manufacturers including glass decorators, fragrance houses, ribbon printers and packaging suppliers. It is very important for us to support British manufacturing, and we feel that not only does this ensure that we get the highest quality, but also that we support our country's various industries. It also means we cut down on global transportation and unnecessary air or freight miles.

Scent is a passion for us. We have now built up an extensive scent library which our clients can choose from, but we can also create bespoke fragrances, which is a really exciting and involving creative process.

Our scent library consists of over 20 fragrances that we are constantly adding to. We burn trial every fragrance to make sure it burns cleanly and evenly and we also ensure that the fragrances disperse efficiently and fill the surrounding space.

With our in house design team we can design you your perfect candle with your companies branding on.

We truly put every effort in to making this creative process as fun as possible.

We recently documented the production process that each of our candles goes through from pouring to packaging in our UK factory, detailing just how much work goes into each individual one. Many hands make great candles, as they say!

Wick & Tallow join the Camden Collective at C/159

This week and next (6th - 19th October) Wick & Tallow is joining the Camden Collective at their pop-up shop at 159 Camden High Street. Both our Bold and Floral Collection will be available with a 15% event discount. There's a mix of other brands in store too, making starting your Christmas shopping very easy indeed! Choose from Blank Inside (featured in today's Metro!), ceramics from Eleanor Stuart, scarves and accessories from Tuff-Love, clothing from An Original Leroy and lots more. There's even a great coffee shop courtesy of Terrone & Co that sells incredible treats from The Meringue Girls!

Wick & Tallow at Best of Britannia

Wick & Tallow will be exhibiting their range of candles at Best of Britannia in the Farmiloe Building in Clerkenwell from 2nd - 4th October 2014. Featuring the very best of British manufacturing, Best of Britannia sets out to showcase British brands at the very top of their game, featuring everything from jewellery and accessories to boats, cars and bikes. Taking over the iconic Clerkenwell location and turning it into the UK's largest pop up department store for three days, Best of Britannia is a feast of inspiration and excellence.

This year Best of Britannia is also launching Buy British Day on Friday 3rd October to coincide with the first consumer day of the show. This is a nationwide campaign to put British made products at the forefront of consumers minds and promote them globally.

Best of Britannia will feature live entertainment alongside an incredible array of food and drinks together with a lively shopping atmosphere in one of London's most striking buildings. Tickets cost £8 and can be bought online here.

Wick & Tallow picked to be part of the Small Biz 100!

Saturday 27th September sees Wick & Tallow featured in the Small Biz 100, one of a hundred businesses featured by the Small Business Saturday campaign.

As part of the campaign Alice and Tom met Oliver Proudlock from Channel 4's Made In Chelsea and owner of British fashion and accessories label Serge DeNimes to discuss how they started Britain's brightest new home fragrance brand, what sets them apart and how they'll be championing the Small Business Saturday campaign on Saturday 6th December 2014.
