This Sunday we will be selling our candles at the Soho Flea Market. Billed as the UK's premier artisan and designer crafts event, it looks set to be a fantastic day of summer festivities. Filled with incredible stalls selling everything from fashion to furniture mixed together with an amazing array of London's best street food and a great line up of music all thrown in for good measure.
Alongside our very own range of luxury scented candles will be casual wear from Plane Clothing, jewellery from Storm in a Teacup, bags from Beara Beara, ceramics from Jimbobart, homeware from Victoria Eggs, vintage inspired fashion from Teastained Lil and a whole lot more. The full line up can be seen on the event website here and you may very well pick up the perfect Father's Day present ahead of the mad rush.
The Meringue Girls, Hix's Fish Dog, Pizza Pilgrims and the Pit Stop Cafe will be amongst those whetting your appetites with their delicious selections of street food to keep you energised throughout the day.
Supported by The Groucho Club, Soho House group, Dean Street Studios and Quo Vadis amongst others, it will certainly be a day to remember. Last year more than 15,000 people attended, doubling the number from its inaugural year in 2012. All the action starts at 11am and goes on until 7pm, ensuring that there is plenty of time to get round all the stalls and really get stuck in.
Come and find us if you're in the area, we'll be outside Black's Club on Dean Street with an exciting new look stand to show off! The nearest tube stations are Leicester Square and Tottenham Court Road.

We were delighted to be asked to attend the Belgravia Wedding Fair hosted by The Halkin hotel, part of the prestigious COMO group on Saturday 5th April. Boasting a Michelin starred restaurant, The Halkin is one of Belgravia's best hotels constantly described by loyal regulars as a home away from home. The Belgravia Wedding Fair was a chance for Wick & Tallow to showcase our unique tailored candle service to wedding organisers and brides-to-be looking to add another dimension to the Big Day, alongside our existing range of candles. Set within the confines of what has become known as the Wedding Capital of London, The Halkin is surrounded by some of London's finest boutique services that can cater for all aspects of the most incredible weddings wherever they may be in the world.
This exacting and specialist fair brought together the likes of A La Carte cosmetics, John Nassari wedding photography, as well as wedding dress designers, event planners, honey moon organisers, flower suppliers and everything else you can think of to take the hassle out of your wedding day and make it the most special it could possibly be. All of this coupled with flowing champagne and stunning rooftop views of London combined to make it a hugely successful event with which to announce our entry into the wonderful world of weddings!
We are excited to let you know about our current feature in the March editions of Absolutely Chelsea and Absolutely Fulham magazines. Our Jasmine & Ylang Ylang candle gets a mention, as does our Bergamot & Basil candle, with the range as a whole described as being able to enhance any and every interior - high praise indeed!
This Saturday 8th February, Wick & Tallow is delighted to reveal that it is sponsoring The Stylist's Rail's latest pop-up fashion endeavour at The Hoxton Hotel in Shoreditch just ahead of London Fashion Week. Alongside our candles you will find some incredible pieces to buy from vintage dresses to the latest must-have accessories that will make sure you stand out from the crowd in the best way possible. To top all this off there will be a proper party atmosphere as big name DJ's take to the decks to get you in the mood and Bloom gin ensure that no one goes thirsty!
We are giving away a pair of VIP tickets to the event that allow you to get in early, ahead of the queues. To be in with a chance to win just tweet, email or Facebook us and we will let the winner know on Thursday.

Wednesday 4th December saw friends and family of Wick & Tallow descend on the London showroom for an evening of candles, cupcakes and cocktails! It was a brilliant evening that allowed us to say thank you to everyone who has supported us in one way or another to reach our launch. Cocktails were mixed in house by our (nearly) resident Dane, Alex Rykkje, served in wax pouring jugs to great amusement, and cupcakes were supplied by the incredibly talented Ella Prichard of Sugarella Cakes, with icing to match each of the Wick & Tallow candles in the current range. Bold colours were definitely the theme of the night, particularly as the cocktails were bright pink and there were plenty of brightly coloured balloons to be found, some of which are still on the ceiling!
Twitter and Instagram certainly got a lot of attention as everyone wanted to snap their cupcakes with their candles before being unable to hold back any longer. One man we spoke to had already had five cupcakes before he had even managed to find a drink! It was really lovely to see so many familiar faces (and some new ones too!) and get such incredible feedback about our products. It may have been the first Wick & Tallow party but we very much doubt that it'll be the last. Perhaps it's time to start planning our summer already...
